Searching for Sheep
I've been living in Souther California for well over a decade and I have yet to see bighorn sheep in the wild. I have been skunked every time I go out searching for them, but one day I will finally see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat!
On my last trip to Red Rock Canyon State Park, I just missed the sheep. I stopped by a dry riverbed they are known to frequent and I was told by a local they were seen passing through just hours earlier.
Even though I missed the sheep this time the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I enjoyed the many little critters scurrying around and the beautiful patches of wildflowers. I popped my rig up in the river bed and let my fabric sail in the breeze.
