If at First You Don't Succeed…
As the saying goes, if it first you don't succeed…try try again!
If you read my blog post from March 22, you know I spent a day adventuring in the Sequoia National Forest…but not quite how I planned.
About a week ago I had the opportunity to try again, and it was well worth the wait. The weather was beautiful as I entered the park (sunny and mid 70s). I thought I might miss out on seeing any snow, but within an hour of driving the air became crisp and I was looking out at an untouched winter wonderland.
There's something magical about the way fresh snow lays pristine before you take your first footsteps on it. And while I didn't make any snow angels (this trip), I was able to pop up my rig and fly in a Spring symphony of birds chirping, trees rustling, and fresh snow for a stage.
"This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it."

I can only feel joy and gratitude reflecting on this day and the beautiful memories made here.
